On Thursday, I stopped for a quick lunch with the "girls" at
Belle Epicurean on Madison Street.
JJ McKay and
Dani Ackerley had arranged the get together for a few friends to celebrate the mention of
Dani's new retail store,
Canopy Blue in the current issue of
Seattle Magazine as "Best Women's Boutique".

Other friends at the luncheon included
Patty Barrier, Betty Tong, Krista Grinstein, Ghislane Morlot, Leslie Chihuly, Rebecca Campbell and
Gwen McCaw.
JJ shared wonderful pink Champagne with us and following a delicious lunch (my beet salad/house salad combination was great!), we trooped next door to
Canopy Blue to see all the great merchandise that
Dani has in her store.
Patty looked fantastic in a jacket she tried on that was the color of ashes of roses and
Leslie looked adorable in the tiniest black skirt. I had to go to another meeting, but when I left, clothing was flying off the racks!
