Last night the
Party Curmudgeon and I attended a fun holiday party in the 42nd floor penthouse of the
Bellevue Towers.
Christine Bloch and
Joel Jackson had purchased the party at an auction and shared it with friends to celebrate the season.
The guest list was stellar including the
Grinch,
Katy Perry,
Dr. Ruth, and
Santa Claus as well as
Diane & Gordon Kuenster,
Jo Krueger & Ron Savage,
Rebecca Campbell,
Gayle Zawaideh,
Rebecca Brown,
Darren Bloch and many others.

The view was of course spectacular; both outside the windows and inside the party with sequins and glitz and glamor making the people-watching a real treat! Loved those very tall silver shoes that
Christine was wearing along with her cute sequined mini-skirt! Another friend at the party said she was going home and cutting off every one of her skirts that very evening. The only fashion faux pas I saw was
Dr. Ruth's white shoes! It is after Labor Day after all!!
Everyone also enjoyed eyeing the spectacular floral arrangements, noshing on delicious hors d'oeuvres and sipping beautiful cocktails in sugar-rimmed glasses (well maybe the men were not drinking these, but many of the women were!). The
Party Curmudgeon pretty much stuck to drinking wine only while I enjoyed a Lemon Drop. It really is all about the sugar on the rim for me!
