Here comes Peter Cottontail . . .

Saturday, we joined a multitude of parents, children and grandchildren at the Rainier Club for their annual Spring Brunch EGGstravaganza. With live ponies in the lobby along with a giant panda and a giant chick just “hatching” out of its shell, it was a party from the moment we walked in the doors!  We were joined by Ken’s son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Alicia Hatch and their sons, Jackson and Spencer and my daughter, Katie and her son, Cutter.
The children were entertained with egg decorating, balloon sculpting, henna tattoos, cookie decorating, airbrush face painting, s’mores in the fireplace, and carnival games before the egg hunt which had separate starting times for each age group.  Jackson, at three years old, pretty much understood the idea of finding eggs and putting them in his basket, while Spencer at 1 year and Cutter at 9 months both liked holding onto one plastic egg each and putting it into their mouths.  For the adults, there was a build-your-own “Bunny Mary” bar and a spectacular brunch buffet while the children had jelly bean junior drinks and a little bunny’s buffet too.
See photos above of the family.
