Koral: Bradley & Mikel's new Restaurant Concept Opening Soon

This morning I met with long-time restaurant buddy and friend, Bradley Dickinson, Owner and Executive Chef of Pearl to hear more about the new restaurant he and his partner, Mikel Rogers are planning.  It is called Koral Bar & Kitchen and will have glimmers of a new American tavern.  It will be high quality, but comfortable and accessible feeling with a lively bar.  Most importantly, it will feel like it is an established restaurant and has been there awhile.

It will be located in the Bellevue Hyatt Hotel located on the corner of Bellevue Way and the hotel drive through entrance and will begin construction in mid-December with a planned opening sometime in February.

Bradley and Mikel are working with branding guru, Tim Girvin, architect Robert Norwood of SkB, restaurant concept developer, Arnold Shain and have been working on the project for almost a year and a half now.  Brad says they have already remodeled the restaurant a couple of times and the good news is that they haven't actually had to move any walls yet since construction hasn't started.
