It was very interesting to hear yesterday the recent ruling by U.S. District Court Judge Roger Vinson that the new health-care law that requires all Americans to obtain insurance is unconstitutional. It recalled for me many of the points that Washington State Attorney General, Rob McKenna, made in remarks to the Women Corporate Directors group last April which I summarized in this blog posting.
So now we can watch and wait as this issue no doubt wends its way to the U.S. Supreme Court.
Sadly, we live in an age where "unconstitutional" is an acceptable term as long as the politicians lobbying a bill get what they want. Here's to hoping health care doesn't further deteriorate because of this new law.

I agree, SpeedStar. There are so many unconstitutional decisions being made in congress. I don't understand why no one complains during the brainstorming process.
ReplyDeleteThe problem with the health care debacle is that so many people want to profit from the results. Insurance companies want more money, the feds want more money, politicians want more money. They can't agree with each other with that kind of mindset.
