ZINO Zillionaire Investment Forum Screening Process

Over the past two days, the ZINO Zillionaire Investment Forum Screening and Coaching Board has had the opportunity to see over 20 entrepreneur presenter prospects for ZZIF 2009. There has been a great group of ZZIF screeners and coaches gathered to watch and listen to each presenting entrepreneur and to provide questions and feedback. Pictured above in the top photo from left to right are: Dave McGinnis of CitiGroup Private Bank, Bryan Brewer of Business Plans NW, Rob Brown of ZINO Society, Gary Ritner of Puget Sound Venture Club and Peter Fosso of Global Music Project. Visible in the lower photo from left to right are Dave Van Patten , C.J. Voss of Stoel Rives, Bryan Brewer, Dave McGinnis, Gary Ritner, Peter Fosso, Christine Gilbert of ZINO Society, Haeryung Shin of Davis Wright Tremaine, Dan Branley of Launch Communications, Jeff Lindstrom of My Health Insurance of Washington, Jackson Weaver of OneAccord, Alan Housley, Geir Hansen of Silicon Valley Bank, and Nathan Kaiser of npost.com . The entire ZINO Society team so appreciates the time and expertise the screeners and coaches bring to the entrepreneur selection process.

Just a few of the interesting and more unusual companies that we have previewed include:

  • Grace and Game LLC – a company specializing in feminine golf clothing for women
  • Pathable – a social networking service for conferences and events which we plan to use at ZZIF this year
  • CoreWerks – a company that has developed a patented chair that addresses lower back pain which Rob is currently enjoying in his office at ZINO Society
  • Harbor Wing Technologies – a company that has developed robotic wind driven Unmanned Surface Vehicles and WingSails to be used for defense, commercial and recreational use
  • DropStation – a service that solves the problem of missing parcel deliveries at home

Once the entrepreneur selections are made, the next step is for the entrepreneurs to go through at least two coaching sessions to help them hone their presentations to include all the most important information in their pitches. We look forward to once again presenting a great group of articulate and talented entrepreneurs on September 17th at ZZIF 2009!
